How long have you been in business?We began in Ontario, Canada in 1985 and expanded to the United States in 1987, opening our doors to college students nationwide.

How does payment work?We require a 20% deposit to schedule the job. Once the project is complete, we’ll walk you through a final inspection. After you're 100% satisfied, the remaining 80% is due. We accept cash, personal checks, and money orders made payable to Student Painters.

Are your painters trained?Yes! All of our painters go through extensive hands-on training before working on any job site. We prioritize safety and quality, ensuring our team is well-versed in proper painting techniques, equipment usage, and industry safety standards. Our managers are also certified through a comprehensive safety program before the season begins.

Do you protect all landscaping?Yes! We carefully cover all areas with drop cloths to protect your property and leave your home looking flawless.

What kind of paint do you use?We use only top-quality Sherwin-Williams products to ensure a long-lasting, professional finish.

How long does it take to paint a house?Project length depends on the size of the job, but most homes are completed within 1–2 days on average.

Do you work on weekends?We’re very flexible with the homeowner’s schedule. If it rains during the week, our team is available to work weekends to stay on track.

Do you have a guarantee on your work?Yes! We offer a one-year guarantee with one coat and a two-year guarantee with two coats. Decks and any horizontal surfaces are excluded.

What kind of prep work will be performed?First, we pressure wash the home to ensure a clean surface (EPA qualifying homes are handwashed). Next, we scrape and feather sand all peeling areas, followed by caulking and priming where needed.

Do you have insurance?Yes! We carry $1,000,000 in Liability Insurance, along with full Workers' Compensation coverage.
