"I would like to express my gratitude for the services of The Student Painters. I employed them in 2013 and again in 2015. The painters I contracted were under the management of Spenser Suski. I have so appreciated this young man's management skills and training of his crews. When I first employed them, my husband had just passed. All of these things were relatively new to me having had a husband who took care of the maintenance issues. Spenser was alwayers there for me to advise me on the replacement of boards above the upper floor before they could paint, caulking in areas that needed it and other problems. His crew also painted my garage which was more than what they expected. Everything was done in precision, efficiency and always on time. No one slacked. There was never any foul language used. Every crew member including Spenser was curteous, helpful, and hauled heavy things not under contract for them to do concerning the garage. They were all a life saver and reinforced in me great hope in our future generation of workers.

 

I would like to also express my gratitude for the many conversations Spenser and I shared, not just about painting but life, school, and future. I found him genuine, sincere, and interested in with whom he talked. Even while walking through our community when I would see him, he never failed to make a point to stop and talk with me. At the end of summer, I found a hammer on my steps from Spenser apologizing for the lost hammer they borrowed from me. I'm not even sure if that was the case, there was so much going on, but he made it a point to purchase a new one for me just in case it had been accidentally taken in the clean up. Impeccable honesty is rare now a days, so this only endeared Spenser more to me than ever. He is likeable, genuine, sincere and capable of succeeding in whatever he decides to do in life.

 

This year reemploying them was no exception to the first year. Again, a new crew but the same skilled training from their manager provided the confidence to expect another good job well done. And so it proved true. Hats off to all the Student Painters. Hats off to Spenser and to those who are managing him. She was very professional and we decided to go with Student Painters. Her and her team were great. Once there was an issue and she handled it immediately. Most of our residents are over 70 years old and can be critical of  the contractors. They were all very pleased with their work. I received four phone calls telling me how polite the painters were.
