Testimonials From Illinois

2010

Dear Mr. Acorn:

Student Painters recently completed painting and staining the woodwork across the front of my house, including three garage doors and trim, window and door trim, and extensive support pillars, a job that lasted most of three days. Brian, my student manager, did an excellent job of discussing the work to be done, document signing, scheduling, keeping me informed and following up. The crew consisted of 2 or 3 young men each day, not necessarily the same ones, but all were polite and good workers, and they did a fine job. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Sincerely,
Steve Alfred

Dear Mr. Acorn:At the end of June, a group of your Student Painters came to my home and painted the window trimmings, doors, and deck. The painters were responsive, neat, and polite. I was satisfied with the finished results and think that your program merits recognition for promoting good work ethics when students are on a job site.

Dear Student Painters,
I had a new deck put on my house two years ago, and had planned on staining it myself. Between the weather and my lack of spare time, I never got around to it. I saw an ad in the paper for Student Painters and thought I would give it a try. A very nice young man came, checked it over, and gave me and estimate. I decided to hire him and I am glad I did. Two students came to my house at the appointed date, power washed the deck, and stained it in one day. They did a very thorough good job on a very hot day. They cleaned everything up and left a beautiful new deck for me. I am very happy with the work, the deck is beautiful, and the two young men were very pleasant and professional.Cecilia Padfield

Dear Mr. Acorn:I recently hired you company to do my exterior staining. Mike Mattson was the manager with whom I negotiated the contract amount and job scheduling.

I was very happy with the quality delivered by Mike and his crew. (If I remember the other person was also Mike.) Both Mikes were very easy to work with, very honest and polite.

I will be more than happy to give Student Painters reference to anyone planning to do exterior painting.

I wish Mike, Mike, and everyone else who worked on my house the best in their careers and really admire their hard work to support their education.

Dear Mr. Acorn:

It is my pleasure to provide a glowing recommendation to these students for a job well doneI came upon your service from a flyer at my friend’s house. I called right away and Jonathan Lucento was the job manager for my area. I told him that what I wanted done was simply the eaves, fascia and upper story eaves on the dormers for a brick bungalow. He responded in a fast, courteous and professional manner. We scheduled the work, but because of the weather it had to be postponed. Jonathan kept in touch and always followed up to make sure the appointed day was not going to be a problem. The painters arrived on time and were fast, clean and courteous. Jonathan was on the job site periodically to see if there were any problems. I needed two wood boards replaced along the upper back porch. He called Rob’s Home Mechanic. Ron came out and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs the services Student Painters can provide. Not only are they fairly priced but they will not leave the job until you are satisfied. I will definitely use them again in the future.Thank you again,

Gina Massie

To Whom It May Concern:

I hired the Student Painters under the leadership of Ms. Christine Chow to power-wash my two-story house and paint the front porch (the rest of the house is covered with vinyl siding). The job was completed in a timely manner and the house looks great!

In the past I have completed this job myself. My house is 137 years old, so working on it can be a miserable chore. The Student Painters were prompt, polite and neat; the completed job exceeded my expectations. Also in the past I have contracted with another entrepreneurial “student” group to paint my porch. This group was inefficient and used cheap paint which peeled, with no guarantee provided.

If it hadn’t been for Christine Chow’s positive, efficient sales techniques, I never would have engaged another “student” group. For every problem that I had had with the first group, Ms. Chow had an answer: cheap paint- Sherwin Williams paint; no guarantee- guaranteed for a year; painted when it was too hot, causing bubbling and peeling- painted when promised, late May, temperature appropriate; too costly- less expensive than I had thought it would be.

All said, the work completed on my house by Student Painters under the leadership of Christine Chow was a very positive experience that I would recommend to my neighbors and friends.

Sincerely,

Susan Perez

Student Manager Chase Cocagne quoted us under customer agreement 33204. Painting for Chase were Abbie, Johnny and Jake. They did a GREAT job! They were neat and orderly, polite, precise and a pleasure to have around our home. We were particularly pleased with Abbie and her work ethic and personality.

We will gladly be a reference for future jobs you may have.

THANK YOU!

This letter of reference is to commend Chris Colgan, Branch Manger, Student Painters, for the excellent service he provided in the end to end process of painting our home. From presentation of the service, the quality of product to be used, areas to be painted, through completion of the painting project, Chris demonstrated knowledge and professionalism. He was present periodically throughout the actual painting to ensure our satisfaction.

Thanks to Chris and the paint crew for a job well done.

I had my home exterior and deck painted in June 2008 by a team from Student Painters and they did an excellent job. I hired them via a “cold call” at my door that was very professionally followed up by the Project Manager, Ben Barngrover. He did an excellent job explaining the services and products and followed up on the decision process. He did a great job matching my desired colors and made great suggestions for the project. Our project was started and ended on time as promised even though we had a two-day torrential downpour! The actual team consisted of a Site Manager and two painters. They were an incredible team! They were very professional and showed up on time each day and worked until they were done. They did not trample my garden or get paint on my flowers or deck furniture. As I am disabled, they were very helpful in assisting me in removing and replacing window screens and even volunteered to help move some deck furniture. They made very specific plans to work around the incredible rain so that the house and deck were painted “in time” for a BBQ that I was giving. Although we couldn’t use the deck, all my guests thought the house looked great. I was also happy to have the team join us for the BBQ because they were so professional, polite, and respectful. Before they left, the Site Manager did and incredibly thorough walk around and touched up anything and everything. There were no later discoveries of “misses” and I am extremely happy with the results. I would recommend this whole team without question and am particularly grateful to the Site Manager for his excellent team management and communication skills. He made the complete process a breeze for me.

This is a letter of reference regarding a painting project on my house this past July by Student Painters. The job consisted of painting (and preparation) all the trim, including soffits, fascia, windows, porch ceilings, posts and all related areas. In total, the whole experience was excellent-beginning with the estimate and contracting process, continuing right up to the finished product. The project manager (Morgan Schweighart) was very helpful and friendly- I really appreciated her ‘low key’ sales approach. She explained everything in good detail. Her knowledge of ‘paint’ and the ‘painting process’ was very good. The estimate was extremely fair and reasonable. During the painting, she stopped by everyday to check on the progress. After completion of the work, she did a follow-up to make sure everything was to my liking. The actual painting work took about 2 ½ days and was first-rate. The painters (2 men and 1 woman) were professional, conscientious, and highly skilled. I was most impressed with the close attention to detail- every nook and cranny, every tight spot-very professional. The finished product looks great. Clean-up was excellent, with no spills or debris left over. The one caveat to this letter of reference will be to see how well (and long) the paint holds up. With the use of Sherwin-Williams “superpaint” my expectations are for 10-15 years. However, until then, I could not be more satisfied, and if in the future, I need some painting work, I would definitely (without any hesitation) contact Student Painters.Guy and gals -‘great job’. Student Painters-Kudos!

Student Painters has exceeded our expectations in painting the exterior of our home! Arriving when promised, fulfilling each of the contractual promises and leaving us with no debris or spills. It was however the professionalism of painting skills, politeness of workers and the complete confidence in your regional manager Davio Pignotti that delighted us. Our neighbors have commented on the work ethic and quality of application skills of Davio’s team. The house truly “pops” now as a result of Student Painters. We will no doubt be calling Student Painters for our next painting project as have already been advising friends and neighbors who they can count on for a great paint job.
